BROWN RICE

Brennan's Sugarbuster Cookbook

1 cup brown rice
2 1/4 cup water
salt & pepper to taste


Wash rice. Add water and rice to saucepan bring to a boil over high heat. After it comes to a boil stir, reduce heat to lowest setting and cover with lid. Cook 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Let rice sit for a few minutes then fluff with fork.
